HBOT
Treating illnesses using non-invasive methods with the help of state-of-the-art technology
What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a medical procedure that raises the oxygen level in a patient’s blood. The air pressure in a hyperbaric oxygen treatment chamber is two to three times greater than normal air pressure. Generally, only red blood cells have the ability to carry oxygen but they are unable to go where there is blockage. During this therapy, oxygen molecules become more easily dissolved and can bypass various blockages. Thus, oxygen is supplied to the affected organs. The purpose is to provide sufficient oxygen for the circulation of blood to promote tissue repair and proper body function.
Why Use HBOT?
By raising the level of oxygen in your blood with the help of HBOT, this helps in the battle against infections and release of substances called growth factors and stem cells, which promote healing. Diseases that have been treated using hyperbaric oxygen treatment include:
- Diabetic foot ulcer
- Gangrene
- Non-healing wounds
- Traumatic brain injury
- Brain abscess
- Burns
- Serious infections of skin or bone that cause tissue death
- Crushing injury
- Radiation injury
- Skin graft or skin flap that is at risk of tissue death
- A potential risk of scuba diving
- Carbon monoxide poisoning
- Severe anemia
- Bubbles of air in your blood vessels, known as arterial gas embolism
- Decompression sickness
- Sudden deafness
- Sudden and painless vision loss
